Mixing India ink (waterproof) with acrylic paint...?

Im looking for the thin, opaque consistency the ink offers and the matty texture of acrylic artists or wall priming paint together in one. Will it mix and hold? I know I can achieve a thin, opaque paint consistency using only acrylic paint and can also just buy coloured ink, but I like the idea of mixing them.
