Why is Tom Brady so hated?

Tom Brady has proven to be one the best QBs of all time, yet he is one of the most hated athletes of all time. I understand people's trepuidation with the Patriots, but that doesn't excuse denying Brady's skill or leadership (or 3 Super Bowls for that matter). Please explain why one can hate a man with 50 single season TD passes, soon to be 2 MVPs (not including SB MVPs) and 3 Lombardi Trophies.
