I am on a diet and exercise plan at the moment. Is eating 1 Tbsp Cornstarch a day bad for my diet?

I workout 6-7 times a week for about 1 1/2 hours a day and consume around 1100-1200 calories a day. I put a little bit of cornstarch into a low calorie sauce that I eat every night to give it a thicker consistency. Will the cornstarch make me not lose weight?
