Waterproof pencil eyeliner as lipliner?

has anyone tried using a waterproof eyeliner on their lips? I want to buy a waterproof black eyeliner or dark brown and add a red lipstick on top. I LOVE dark red lipsticks but I could never find the perfect color. Also the consistency is always crappy if it's really dark. I want to try a waterproof eyeliner, one that wouldn't smudge on on the lips. Has anyone tried it and does it work out fine?
