What does grey pus in a cat mean?

pus is usually a sign of infectious process. however, as a nurse i have seen people call any liquid pus. pus is different other liquids.you will know in a few days what it is. it could be anything from a cyst to cancer if you ask. no sense to try to worry about it or find out and read awful possibilities as it maybe is something totally fixable. color isnt always an indicator which is why your doctor sent it for pathology.she did the right thing. i would not worry about what it could be. you did the right thing taking her to see about it and getting it drained. i hope kitty is fine and i praise you for taking her to a doctor as soon as you could. himalayans are beautiful animals. she is lucky to have such a good owner. dont worry about it.it may be nothing more than a sebaceous cyst. good luck
